Motorola Two Way Radios have been purchased to enable a mobile watch officer to communicate with station control and liaise with local Coastguard Operation Centre (CGOC) on an incident outside of the station observer’s line of sight. (05/02/2019)

Coastwatch has just had a new false ceiling installed in the station’s entrance area, also a false wall, inspection panel and LED bulkhead light to the interior south wall. Skirting boards have been replaced and superb quarry tiles installed to the floor. Many thanks for an excellent job to D.Tabner Plasterers Ltd.

Decorating is next on the agenda and that will see the completion of a four/five year plan to bring all the facilities and equipment up to date and provide our volunteer watch officers with a station fit for purpose. (05/02/2019)
