Due to the Covid-19 crisis and recent government announcements/advice we will be closing the station’s operational capability from 1200hrs Saturday 21st March 2020. We very much regret having to make this decision, but the health and safety of our charity’s volunteers is of primary concern. Hopefully we can return to normal operational status as soon as possible.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. Our website will remain available to access local weather conditions via our own weather station and also the link to Met Office inshore forecasts. Additionally, a link to tidal predictions for the Tees and a comprehensive UK weather map via the Windy icon link.

The webcams will remain operational; however, if any interruption in the transmission should occur we will try our best to recover the viewing capability as soon as possible

We will still be available to address any questions you may have via our email contact form.

In the meantime, for any maritime emergency dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
