Well, the first Coastwatch Charity Concert is over and what a fantastic evening it was. A packed house listened to a broad spectrum of top-class music brought to us by the charitable performances of “We Are IT” (Ian Swinburn & Trevor Bond), “John Weighell” and “The Roddy Gordon Band” ft. Ronnie Brown on harmonica & John Brady on Dobro.   Maggie Gee, in her own inimitable style did a great job as MC for the evening, Ann Wright and Amanda Hadlett worked tirelessly throughout the evening in charge of entry and the raffle. All these people gave freely of their time to support Coastwatch Redcar. The night raised a magnificent £1020 in ticket sales and £250 in the raffle.
