The unpaid volunteer watchkeepers at Coastwatch Redcar deal with a considerable array of incidents throughout any given year.

The station covers a watch area from the Tees Bay approaches to Huntcliffe at Saltburn and the associated foreshores via Visual,CCTV, Radar and VHF Radio surveillance.

The Coastwatch Redcar maritime surveillance station  is one of the finest equipped Non-Governmental Organisations in the UK, both in terms of dedicated volunteers and modern technology.

The station is a registered charity (1177709) and is supported entirely by donations, there is a donation page on this site and any support is greatly appreciated.
